Our hearts have been heavy as we grieve the sudden and tragic loss of our esteemed placement coordinator, Chad Graybill. For over two decades, Chad was a cornerstone of the Grant Career Center community, from carpentry lab instructor to placement coordinator.
Chad was not just an employee; he was a devoted father, husband, mentor, and a passionate educator. His unwavering commitment to our students and his genuine desire to connect them with meaningful work experiences, internships, and job placements brought immeasurable joy to his life. Many of you have directly benefited from his tireless efforts, experiencing firsthand the opportunities he helped secure. Chad's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those he touched.
His warm smile, genuine interest in each student's success, and tireless advocacy will be sorely missed. Chad was a true champion of our students, always going above and beyond to ensure they had the best possible chances for success. He never gave up on anyone, striving to make each person as successful as possible.
As we grapple with this profound loss, we encourage you to reflect on Chad's unwavering dedication to his students and the career tech community. In his memory, we will carry forward the lessons he taught us: perseverance, kindness, and the importance of seizing every opportunity. Chad believed in the potential of every student, and we are committed to upholding that belief.
To honor Chad's legacy and support our students in pursuing their dreams, we are establishing the Chad Graybill Memorial Tool Scholarship. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to students pursuing careers in skilled trades, helping them acquire the tools and equipment necessary for their education and future careers.
We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, but we hope that you will consider contributing to this scholarship fund in memory of Chad. Your generosity will honor his legacy and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students, ensuring that they have the resources they need to succeed.
