Students from Welding and Cosmetology competed at SkillsUSA Regionals at Eastland Career Center today. Senior Louisa Mitchell placed 1st in Job Demo A, senior Tanna Hurley placed 3rd in Esthetics, and junior Ariana Vanchure placed 3rd in Job Demo B. All three will continue on to the state competition in April.
Juniors Austin Sipple and Jake Winter competed in the Team Welding Fabrication competition with senior Caleb Saunders. Senior Austin Raper competed in the Welding competition. Congratulations to all of our competitors!

REMINDER: The HealthSource of Ohio Mobile Dental Team travels to schools in the region, providing dental services to the students enrolled in the mobile dental program. The team will soon travel to Grant Career Center to provide services here. Each student receives:
An exam by a dentist
X-rays
Cleanings
Sealants, if needed
Fluoride, if needed
Summary of the visit to take home
Goodie bag, including toothbrush, toothpaste, and dental floss
